Exchange Policy

We will not provide a refund if you have simply changed your mind about your purchase. Nevertheless, with the exception of the Clearance Items, Addison Road is pleased to offer you an exchange, provided that the item is returned within 30 days of purchase date in its original packaging which is unworn, unused and in a new condition.

Notwithstanding the above, this policy does not affect your legal rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Items that are faulty or mispresented will be refunded, replaced or repair as appropriate.

The important thing to remember is that we want the beautiful items you purchase from us to be perfect for you. We will exchange at any time where goods are:

  • Items are at fault, such as a manufacturing defect
  • Are not fit for your purpose
  • In conflict with any other rights provided for by State Legislation or the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC)
  • Product must be returned unworn and in a new condition
  • Proof of purchase to be provided

The following are not eligible for exchanges:

  • Clearance items
  • The item is clearly worn and not returned in a sellable condition.
  • The item is damaged, misused, tampered with, modifications or alternations made by us.

How to return an item to us 

  • Your items must be returned unworn and in their original condition within 30 days for an exchange or a store credit to be issued.
  • We don’t cover return postage fees unless the error is Addison Road's or a manufacturing fault. We recommend getting tracked postage so you can trace your return as Addison Road does not assume responsibility for lost parcels. 
Exchange shipping costs can be paid to Addison Road via:
  • Adding a prepaid parcel when returning the item
  • You can purchase your exchange postage here
3. We’ll reach out to you - once your return has been received by us we’ll be in touch as soon as possible via email with your store credit details. Please allow 2-5 business days for your return to be processed once delivered to our studio.

Store Credits:

Credit notes are valid for 6 months from the date and time of issue. If you have not used it within 6 months, the balance will be cancelled. 

Returns using AfterPay and ZipPay:

If you have paid for your order through AfterPay or ZipPay, we will issue you with a store credit as we are unable to void your payments. Your agreement with a third party payment plan provider will still continue and you will be required to pay any scheduled repayments. For more information on this please contact your payment provider.

Return Policy
In compliance with Australia Consumer Law, Addison Road is not required to provide a refund or exchange if you make an incorrect selection, need a different size or change your mind. This includes payments made with AfterPay. 

If there is a fault with the item you have purchased, we will offer to repair or replace where available otherwise a store credit or refund will be offered. All claims for faulty items are assessed on an individual basis. If a refund is required, it will be processed back via the original payment method used to place the order. Proof of purchase is required for any exchange, return or refund.
